i'm really happy that people are enjoying the wonky cd
for me i'd have to say origin 3 is my fav comp release of the year, also the 2 comps from phar-psyde records are woth checking out too, as is the new compilation from wild things 
I said no to drugs... but they didn't listen |

for pure Psychedellic Trance, that "some" kids just call "fullon", you can listen some very good albuns that went out this year:
Logic Bomb - Sonic Algebra
Tristan - Chemisphere
Amd - Big Fish
Hujaboy - Black Belt
About VA's i really dont know anyone...
from 2006 but still very very fresh
PanicK - Labomatic
Kox Box - U-Turn
i dont know if you have this ones, but it really worth the buy

@zmandan..........good dark VA s also are few and far between...the overall psy scene whether dark,fullon,twilight etc suffers from a case of quantity over quality
some good fullon albums which i enjoyed were
1) Hypersonic - Access denied (they always have something different in each track,not just standard fullon)
2) Prosper - Speed of sound (this again is not fully fullon...but hes integrating fullon...prog...eurotrance.nice album just becoz of the innovation and cross genre blending)
3)Skulptor - Natural ..........my bestest fullon album of this year.....crazy tunes, acoustic guitars , psytrance with eurotrance elements
4)VA Yahel Superset 2 - hes one of my favs although he may have changed his style.....good album...the DNA rmx on d album is good!...also the roy sela cd on the albums nice)
5)VA flamenco mania - for showing that fullontrance and spanish mexican music certainly make a good match
6)Digital tribe - free your mind.....not given it a complete listen but from initial listen sounds good
7)Opium of the masses (space buddha+cyber cartel)....really good energy fullon...not cheese but some good driving beats !

hmm i guess ppl have overlooked quite a few albums which had some lovely sounds i must say ..!
some of my picks that i havn't seen people mention would be :-
VA - Origin Stage 3 [nano recs.]-- some lovely traxs with such gr8 flow to keep you grooving through the day.
Xerox And Illumination - The Beast Within[hommega recs.]-- some people might disagree but it some thing in their sounds whether you call it the same or monotonous i still dig their sounds works wonders on the dance floors.
Trold - Time Of Illusion [glowing flame recs. ]-- PURE GENIUS stuff..! hardly have put a wrong foot in making any track in this cd absolutely a gem of a listen.
