Hi, can anyone suggest a spectrum analyzer vst that displays audio in time, frequency and decibels at the same time, similar to the one in the link below?

thanks in advance, freebie is preferable if there are any

Yep, I believe Voxengo SPAN does the trick, and it's a freebie!

I don't think it shows a timed spectrogram though

Voxengo SPAN is great, though i'm looking for one that shows freqeuncy and time in both axis + amplitude in color for more detail analysis...
currently using the one in wavelab, but its in 3d, so not very comfortable to use for me personally

That's more like it, thanks, though its included only in bluecat's freqanalyst pro mode witch is 70 euro... i need to use it only a few times so that's why i want want freebie, but i'll look into it if i don't find anyhing else

I remember seeing something similar as a free plugin or a built in one in some audio editor...could be just my stoned memory though

izotope's insight can also show a 2d or 3d spectrogram.

Yeah, that's a sonogram or spectrogram display. I don't use any VST ones, but the ones that come with Audition and Samplitude are both great (and you can do spectral editing with them too), or for free with no editing I just use the one built into Foobar2000 which can be setup how you like (loads of options), and looks very pretty.           http://hermetechmastering.com : http://www.discogs.com/artist/Gregg+Janman : http://soundcloud.com/babaluma
