But.. I see these artists on DI.FM with their own sets and every song is just bad ass... any suggestions?

Very very few labels even make psy-vinyl so that is one reason for you difficulties. For newer wax, I always found Saiko Sounds superior to Psyshop in selection, but each have their strong points.           New Album: Jikkenteki - Flights Of Infinity

if you really want to spin psytrance, may I suggest switching to CDJ (!)

They truely are a more appropriate medium for this kind of music...
keeping everything in mind (mixing techniques, party locations, music availability / format / acquiring new music... etc ..) CD is really the best way to go.

apart from a difference in audio format and quality, CDJ can do everything a turntable can do and much much more (sampling, looping, hotstart points, displays) CDJs even have a vinyl mode where supposedly one can scratch as well... I know most vinyl people would not like the scratch mode, but with psytrance you dont scratch and all that... so you dont even need that capability           www.facebook.com/DjJanux

I play with vinyls since 1996 and I can tell you that It's nothing to see with CD's..!
Of course it's a bit difficult to get platines in the psy scene, and sometimes it's really hard and not safe to take your vinyls to the party area (sun,sand...)....
But about mixing technique, it's totally different. When you touch the vinyl to get the right speed, you really feel the action. hands on vinyls... When you did it on a CDJ, you just feel the machine, and the action is not representative to the result...
And for the CDJ where you can scratch, it's totally not the same as vinyl... really too reactive... Anyway, you don't use this to scratch (in psy), but to sync your two traxs together !
Now, I have Final Scratch for a while, and I just need my laptop and two vinyls... I can play what I want from aiff files, even demo's or anything...

Cd is the best way to go in psy scene if you want to be able to play anywhere, but on a technique side, it will never be better than vinyls !!!
That's what I think ! ;-)
