I consider myself a virgin in the progressive psytrance area. Ive been hearing some good stuff here and there. The only real albums I know are the Zenon records releases. The latest one "VA Small Talk" was fantastic, i'm looking for something similar but preferably with a slightly heavier psytrance influence. Something with wicked funk and grooves. Any suggestions appreciated. Cheers

Straight saw 16ths
...or layered gliding bassline that drops under the kick as well, no one is into these b-lines these days...
I've always thought its not full-on, but progressive that exceeds the 140BPM mark, like back in the day where a lot of progressive trance was a bit more aggressive and fast.

Grouch from UP/Zenon/Cosmic Conspiracy recently played out here... his debut album should be out on UP Records next year... definitely watch out for that if you like heavy tribal dubby bass on your proggy.
