techtrance is much smaller than it used to be here

yeah, at least from toronto to montreal it's mainly high-tech/dark trance from what i experienced. |

I'd call it the regional sound (just look at what the major artists are from Toronto and Montreal) but techtrance maintains a low profile. I suggest you try the Boshke crew (though they seldom if ever throw events), Phawn/Tone, or BLA. Not sure about Montreal, but DJ Clown would know.
