i dont think there are any special rules for making intro.. do wht u think sound good for intro.. wht wud u like to hear in intro? maybe a nice and easy kik build up with phased raising sounds in the back.. or just a single bar of some voice sample and whhom into the groove.. its ur wish dude... i guess u need to just fuck around and learn some tricks..
re-arrange what you thought was real |

99% of the tracks use some sounds from the rest of the track to introduce the first beat. Just use some sounds that sound good together to capture the interest of the listener.

Then heres my tip
An intro in psychedelic music can consist of 3 elements in the way that i think....So here goes
1 intro with a long pad and some windy kind of effects like another short pad every 9 bars the start of a kick drum in the background add another pad and some atmosphers start a percussion loop softly and a have it start to rise in volume
2 repeat step 1 but add a vocal
3 repeat step 1n but have a group chanel or use your imagination and modulate the kick and bass start distorted and fade out as it gets to the main part have a drum roll come in and a big DROP
the best thing is to also start with sounds that can start the emotion of the song so keep as many new elements from intro to some how evolve to your main drop and have a few elements remaing and a few new elements after your main drop so that the intro fades away easily
Peace and light |
