Hello everyone, I am just looking for some tips and ideas for mixing back and forth from psytrance to dubstep.
I know how to beatmatch and everything, so I'm really just looking for ideas on doing blends/cuts, and where to place drops. Lemme know anyones experience on doing so.

It is difficult to say something useful because it really differs per track... Just try some stuff out i'd say.

I and a few friends that can do it pretty well... Most dubstep is at 70-75 bpm where as alot of psy/fullon is between 140-150 bpm. So most dubstep is exactly halftime to alot of psy. This means the tracks should mix fairly easy without alot of pitch adjustment. It can be really nice to use good trippy dubstep in the breakdowns of the psy tracks.. That's about the only way I like it... "It" being dubstep...

Here is a perfect example... It's not a dj mix, the track was produced with dubstep breakdown but you can get an idea of what Im talking about and effect it can have... jump to 4min 48sec...
