Heya

im having some noise when i record from hardware, and i have tryed everything to remove it and now that i want to get a new soundcard i want to get a external soundcard. because i think the noise problem is my computer.

anyone can recommend a good external soundcard? no RME to expencive, and i need 2 Balanced I/O

the edirol UA-25 is doing a good job for me. very solid, stable & fairly cheap (bout 200EUR or less)

Hey .. Try ESI "Waveterminal" - Great Quality ! and Your Noise Will Stop For Sure ! . I know What u Are Talking About B Coz I Had The Same Prob's Bifore (Coming From The On Bord Voice Card/Or The One U get With Your Computer) .

I have the same problem into high volume listenning using m-audio audiophile 24/96.
When i turn off the virus seems to b ok.
I have tested,in a friends setup,on motu's 828 (1300e in Greece) in ultra high volume while nothing was playing and heard again that f***in hiss noiz.
Still confuzed ;-)

I got a offer to buy Behringer FC202 for 140 dollar (995,- Danish kroners) .. Is this card pure crap and I should stay away, or is it ok?

Anyone?

Ultralite maybe? its some kind of money but its an awesome soundcard, u wont regret it

PS. try using some of ex. Belkin's UPS/filters....maybe the noise is from the AC outlets - maybe caused by lamps or some other electronics...          myspace.com/auralinvasion

Im not so sure about that alex, i had a motu ultralight and the asio of didnt work, the technical support SUCKS REALLY REALLY BAD, they are rude as hell and cant help u any.
i wouldnt advise you to buy a motu. i think is more of an apple soundcard rather than PC.
but still people with apple's that i know had a few problems.
