You need to make your track evolve, add more layers, effects, background pads, melodies, percussions and whatever you want.
It sounds quite repetetive and irritating from the beginning up to 1:20 when a effect comes out of the blue.
After you make more loops, try to add a new one every 8 beats and you will hear a big difference in your track. Listen to your favorite artists and you will hear what I speak about.
Don't delete, add more to the soup! Much more!

cheers,
Misha

Hi I think you heard only my 3 channel draft ..

Please check my track - *on myspace* - there is a piano part that goes over 7 octaves and my work has around 50 channels.
I don't know any artist that uses piano this way in psytrance..I really would like to get some advice or an honest opinion on my work.

Its on myspace ... not on soundcloud.

The soundcloud draft is now also almost finished, I upload it soon. Has now also around 50 channesl. This here had only 3.
Anyways thank you for your time, the good vibes and your friendly intention to help.

I made my loop a bit longer. Maybe someone can give advice. So far it has no intro , and no breaks. Also will add a real long melody to it ,because so far it has only a few smaller melodies. It's in hungarian gypsy scale. Some bongos and more vocal samples will be added, and I guess my bass is in need of better work. Also kick will get a few variations, so far it just a few houres of work. So far its just a fundament. ..in my fm line I plan to make more variations as well.
Also no dynamics on it, no sc no comps, just 2 groups, almost no eq .. all to be done soon. But this is the ruff idea.

i've listened to the soundcloud piece, as i don't really wanna open myspace, sorry.

anyways in the draft (the second one) it is not compression or eq you need to add, it is music that lacks there. there is no idea, nothing that would make anyone turn this track again to satisfy musical thirst. i am not sure why anyone would want to expose such raw sketch at all.

kick and bass sound ok btw, its only the bass needs a bit of fade out or fade in (increase amp env attack or release or both), 'cause it clicks.
