Some interesting ideas but your production quality must be upgraded. Too much confusions beetween the different frequencies. Kick, bass, leads and rytmiks have to be on specific frequencies band: you should work with EQ to isolate each sounds in the right frequencies. You can easely find good tutorials on the web to do this, but to make simple, cut useless frequencies on each channels with your EQ (short examples: cut the bass on your drums and cut high frequencies on the bassline). Then you can have a real dimension in your music. A second step is to work with panoramics to place sounds in space...This is specialy important with rytmiks and leads . These two aspects are fundamental to have a good quality....From this you can use more tricks to make killer tracks but you have to integrate this two steps first.

you still need to massively raise your kickdrum. It is wayyyyyyyyy too low.

Cool sounds. the bass might need some work, but I can't tell as much because the kick is hardly there.

Raise it and reup it as MP3 so it's a smaller file.           www.musicproductionnatural.com || www.facebook.com/djamoeba | facebook page

Thanks for downloading.
Your telling me that the kick is still gettin muddled away into the bass synth...

I was trying hard to create a union between kick and bass by giving my kick a lot more lower frequencies. I don't know why but if i raise the volume on this channel anymore my kick begins to sound isolated.

Do you write music?

thanks for downloading.
Yes my friend I know production can still be improved a lot. I am still writing music only with software without an external sound card.
I use a macbook pro and cubase sx 3.

When I make money Ill buy Which is gonna be real soon hopefully.

about the equing. When I compare this track to ones I made in the last year. Sounds much much better this one. Its clearer and louder. I get better with practice and better equipment. For now I am trying to nurture a passion.

I will spend time on equing everything again and post another link

Thanks for your time

Homestly i don't think the sound card will change anything (on this track)...Cause the base is really good, there is just a mixing problem. Many people think than you must have expensive soundcards and synths to make killer music but this is definitly wrong...For sure it's important if you use external materials, for latency, and to finalize your track, but the basic is still to work with good quality samples (cheak good kicks here: http://www.electrypnose.com/index.php?page=download) and to understand how equalisation works (isolate kick and bass on differents frequencies and you'll have a nice surprise). Your sound card convert the sound from your computer in an analogic signal and yes, a good card will make it better. But it will never make your sound more clear...i heard so many professionnal tracks made on cheap materials. You can be really confortable with EGO-SYS first price cards for example...Asio driver is indispensable (latency!).

I understand what your saying about the synthesizer but im sure that you are right about a killer sound card helping me make this sound better
I am not so good with an analog synth. I can't play tunes so fast with my hands yet . For now its Vsts.

thanks for the link. there is some useful information on vince's site.
Nice artwork on the karash album

I was trying something with the kick bass. I'll post another link in some time.

For the kind of psytrance you're trying to make, I suggest looking at the basic things first before you start boosting/cutting frequencies blindly.

Don't have your bass and kick playing at the same time for now - its easier if you're using audio samples instead of triggering kicks with midi, as you can actually see how long the tail of your kick is and if it is interfering with the next bass note.

Second, for now highpass most of your leads/percussion at between 150-200hz. Your bassline should be living in the area below this and you don't want your leads or drums to clash with it.

There are very very many artists out there, including myself, that only have a software studio.

Don't blame it on the tools
