Hi musicians!
Electric Pollution Records is a brand new free net label! This label is all about free music, Mainly psychedelic trance, Downtempo/chillout and experimental electro.
Right now this label needs artist to support its cause! To release free quality music that hasn't been heard before! As innovation and experimentation is a plus and even a key! But not a must, Feeling comes first, and the rhythmic connection.
The first VA is going to be a surprise for both Electric pollution records as for everyone else! Thats how it should be, mystic!
So artists surprise us all and send your demo
to electricpollution.records@gmail.com
192kbps mp3 is well enough and not over 10mb(if you attach)
either attach or send via yousendit if over 10mb or other free upload service
I will answer as soon as possible and give details and feedback on the music! But for a VA to grow i need some tracks to work out the vision
The name of the VA will be announced as the vision grows stronger! All open-minded in the start is the best way for this first release
A little request from the brainchild is a Ambient track as a intro track, preferably around 7-8 minutes all else can be, psychedelic forest, morning trance, suomi sounds, Goatrance, Progressive... even DnB or some nice dubstep, Feel free but work with hearth and passion
1 of March is deadline!
7 tracks is minimum, might be extended for a bonus track.

Update!
This could also become a ambient chillout release if this is what you want... it will become what the majority of artists send! and what the mystic forces wants!
So remember all music is really welcome! But work of passion is what is most welcome! |

though i'm probably not done mixing this song till march @_@
i guarantee its a tad original and i sure create from my heart.
my cheesy cheesy heart..

Hi Elad, Very good question.
As of now things will be on a amateur basis!
If everyone contribute with their skills it will grow to something good. The main focus is on getting good music out, with good cover art and promotion over the net. Of course Good mastering, It wont be any professional as its means involving money, The idea is for this to be free, strictly promotional and for the love of music. And for unknown artists to get a chance to get a label to their music.
If the response here is bad this label will turn to other grounds and probably promote Electro and downtempo! Its a Open-minded label!
But to answer the question, "whats in it for the artists?" Strictly promotion! But projects can always grow and what happens is really not sure. As of now its 200% free if we dont count internet cost and personal energy investment.
Also mastering will not follow the loudness wars and will be kept on a nice level!
Artist communication will be important in this matter. Electric Pollution put big importance in giving constructive critics and elaborate to get the best out of this.
And all music is welcome, i put no restriction on this as i would really love to see a very diverse VA - Album
A release will happen for sure!
Elad Please do contribute with some Of your funky stuff, see it as a opportunity to be totally creative and search outside the box

I hope you get som focus to finish up! Would love to have your track on the VA
Hopefully we get some more artists to this project! hehe But im sure
If someone feel that making a ambient track for the intro please get started, otherwise maybe i do it my self..

hrm. I've got a 95 BPM track that's pretty much just slowed down psytrance/psy-dub with slidey bass and a lot of 303 love that I've been working on for the past month or two. Should be done by the deadline, its like 75% done now just need some more filling in and then a proper mix.
if you're interested I could send you over a rough mix for criticism/to see if you want it

Hey Wizack Twizack! that sounds very interesting, you got free hands to create!
And mastering is also interesting, But remember that we want to keep the levels on a healthy value and aim for a smooth sound! Id be glad if you want to give this VA a nice finish, Lets speak more when tracks are comming in. Thanks for the offer, this is exactly what the VA is about.
