Been trying to get make a bassline like this for ages. It's not only the kick who is amazing. It's the kick aswell

cant get it right. Wounder what's the best way to creating a bouncy bass like this.

Sounds like hes adding something more then just the bass? Maybe an hover or is he tweaking with the cutoff?. Would love if anyone could send me some tips. Cheers!

You should be able to get that sound using a saw wave, multiband distortion with an automated filter over the top..

Closet way to get a bass like this is to use vb-1 and present synth bass and change the cutoff abit.

But it aint bounchy like the the other basses are. Cant get it to sound like that :/           https://soundcloud.com/sagepsy

for a bass like that vb1 is the worst choice...
pretty much any synth with a saw/square wave and 2 osc's can do it.. nothing special.
if i have some time tommorow i will make you some patches on sylenth, surge, albino and give ti to you here!

not bad for the beginning, finish tracks, thats important for coming further.
put your favorite tracks in your daw and analyze them (leads, kick, bass, HH, etc).
download a free analyzer (voxengo span).
learn EQing, watch tutorials, read every post here.

cos the demand is rising i will need 200 euro per patch..

ill post them here for everyone!
but never forget that the output may vary due to the kick in the combo the note used and the mix!          http://www.landmark-recordings.com/

Me no want samples...
I would love a preset for studying. I got plenty of samples, but it's hard to tweak a sample, compared to a synth.           www.xun.dk / myspace.com/xundk
