Hi,
I ve had a really exciting vision for a plugin to help mixing process in way anyone has ever thought about. I m preatty sure it d become a must for producers like us.
I contacted some companies, and a guy from Voxengo answered me in such a rude and unfaithfull way before even listening to my idea, that I decided to look for a individual help, not a big company..
So I m looking for a really talented guy, able to design a vst plugin with real advanced and nice look.. It s not all that complicated like a complex synth or effect. It has more to do with frequencie spectrum analysis, but in a totally diferent way.
Thanks. |

hello mate,
I've seen your post on kvr and the replies, and i understand your position. There is a value to an idea, some people pay a lot of money for good ideas. On the other hand it'll be difficult to get someone hooked unless you tell them at least a little something about your idea.
I'm not a develloper but I thought many time that i would love to have a spectrum analyser being able to color the different instrument within the spectrum so i could see them. it would have to be a 3d spectrum. I have no idea if thats possible or if thats easy to do... but it seems to me thats a good idea.
does your idea have anything in comon with mine?
I wish you good luck ! |

yes man. That s exactly what is all about. A complete system to help us to choose eq settings for each instrument in a mix, by analisyng the frequencies and sugesting cuts and boosts.
I want the plugin to be free...and they are so worried....so funny...
Man I had really a great time listening to a lot of people worried with everything possible about a simple idea, excluding the idea itself. there s a guy from a company that asked me to sign a document not for me to go after his company after telling him my idea. The guys are all crazy.
I m sure that if anyone buy my idea it ll help us a lot..let s see if I get anyone to help...
Thanks. |

Maybe developers dont see ur idea as a selling product., i see it very useful but at the end of the day like it or not they have the last answer. |

actually I started looking for them today.
Also they can t say anything so far, because I didn t give any details...all I m looking for is someone that enjoys developing new plugins and knows how to do it.
To be honest almost noone in plugins development small compaies are making money, with very few exceptions. They all point that at kvr. There s a topic about comercial successfull or not histories...
They use to say when it s free people download a lot and never write back saying thank you or donate. When its paid, almost noone buys it.
One of the reasons are the warez...
Anyway, I d like my idea to be 100% free..
Another reason is that they are mostly trying to make synths very similar with the existing ones, with same features....Or effect such compressors, reverbs, etc..and I think at least regarding vsts (effects), the only brands that are really doing something close to hardware are urs, uad and maybe Kjaerhus...(some of the best ones are also found at protools hd)..but tat s another discussion... |

I know space boy, subconsciousmind. My idea goes more through same path, but I wonder it should be a little more complete system.
But the basic idea is to mix the frequencie analyzing with eqing.
Maybe I should post a topic whwre everynoe should help to build the concept and then we d go after a developer who might b interested.
BTW, elevayata s owner has contacted me through kvr. Maybe its a good idea for us to begin a topic and build the plugin concept together, so everyone can sugest things untill we get to a final concept.
Let me do it, and you ll see what I m talking about.... |
