i'm looking for a software which does the following:

i have a 80 mintues .wav file, and i want to cut it into seperate files, e.g 3 files: the first is 40, the second is 30 and the third is 10. is such software exists, that cuts the audio file into smaller pieces?           u can find "Anything U Want" using the search...

You can do this with any wave editor.

Best look for a freeware or shareware one, if you don't already have one.

cutting wav is nothing special.,
it's a very simple process.,

therefore there are a lot of programs that can do this perfectly.,
so, any program that claims to do it will do it.,

anyway, any program that calls itself a sample editor should be able to do it.,

It depends, would you buy Sony Soundforge or Wavelab for cutting 1 wave file?

So if u only want to cut this one file, go for some freeware or shareware, coz its free and much smaller.

Wavelab and SF install both much dx plugins and drivers u will maybe never need, and they cost much money, ok you could download them for free but for only cutting 1 file thats nnot nesscary.

So think about what u need and how often u need it.
