To be honest and blunt, I dislike all this nostalgia.
Goa is a state of mind, as has been stated before by user mikechedelic. I noticed that I can be quite nostalgic for the time I just entered the scene, which is coincidentally when I did my first rolls and tabs. How can others not see that for what it is?

True, But I have been around > 10 years,
and it is not because you are feeling nostalgia,
that it should be negative,
but I understand, some people get nostalgia all the time and they become a yammer!
Mostly it is time for them to take a break,
and come back with a new perspective @ psytrance. Or leave!

No one has to leave or take a break. Let people be nostalgic and bitch about good old days, love neo-goa, love dark horror core, love fluffy full-on, love progressive etc.
The point is we are all individuals and no one should tell anyone to leave or take a break or not being allowed to feel nostalgic. It's a free world when it come to taste and the reason why I fell in love with this scene (My love has faded though due to the scene being very different from what I fell in love with 19 years ago) was because there was room for everybody no matter gender, religion, appearance, skin color etc.
To me that "vision" is long gone in the majority of the scene. But that's their choice and I just keep away from such people and parties.

Goa has changed but then the world and times are changing too. It is for sure not anymore what it used to be but I believe that it is still 1 of the main Trance party locations in the world. As if there are no parties happening here....

I plan of moving to Goa when I grow old hope it stay the way it is and doesn't loose it charm.

i guess there is still some good places but to keep these place great they dont talk much about it... good place you dont need big names playing or the commercial aspect of parties ,just some local djs setting up some sound system every week end on some paradisiac beachs + a crowd of travellers that stay there to enjoy the good season, that make it even harder to find if there is some place like this cause it s not yet big and that why it s good.
we should make a secte dedicated to psytrance maybe some already exist , i heard about a village with only freaks leaving there in comunion with the nature, dont remmeber the place... but guys that live there are originate from all around the world.

Goa is something is important. I have heart there. people who hate goa must abandon this forum
