hello,
im sorry if this seems redundant or out of place, but iv been toying with the idea of buying a mixer for some time now. iv been using virtual dj and atomix for some time now. i wanted to find a mixer which would support loops, like 1/4/8/16 beat looping. iv looked up the pioneer djm 600 but thats loop sampling and doesnt appear to be the same thing. i just wanted to recommendations from other ppl who have more experience than i do. the mixer should have the looping, as well as auto bpm detection (whcih seems pretty standarD). not looking for too many effects, just the loop would be cool. and oh yeah 2 channels should be enough. any help would be appreciated. thank you.

well first i have 2 say: you shouldnt use a bpm counter. they're never really accurate, and you're fucked if you play somewhere where there is no bpm counter. maybe you should watch out for the 800 players by pioneer, the have 1 / 2 / 4 / 8 bars looping. |
