What he said +

If you're using FLstudio: go for grossbeat

If you like to keep it simple use mg triggergate. http://www.mgaudio.de/modules/do_download.php?file=mgTriggerGate_v0.17_vst.rar           http://www.soundcloud.com/bandarlog

i am not familiar with other DAW's, but i know in ableton you can simply put volume envelopes on your clips (midi or audio).

not exactly the same as some of these plugs, but it does the job!!!

Yeah you can do volume automation in all daw´s but its time consuming.
But stormgate was an awesome gate can recommend it to everyone.
thanks again for the tip.           .

If I remember correctly you using flstudio, well GrossBeat is just one hellof an awesome plug, not only it does gate it does glitch.

Besides that I use trancegate from KVR ,is nice..And also what the other folks told here.           From all the things I lost, that sandwitch cost me most :)

For ease of use and clean interface haven't found anything like MGTriggerGate. Also free...

I use digitalfishphones Floorfish, part of the freeware Fish Fillets package available here:

Not sure if that's the type of gate you require though?
