In Israel unfortunately theres no music school that teaches in english, ah i wish such a thing existed i spent a good year trying to understand what the teacher was saying rather than the material. So ur best bet is learning online. if u want to just learn about those things like ableton, glitch... than u can find tutorials on utube and such. but if u want to start working with a more professional sequencer like cubase and really broaden ur knowlege on all subjects-production,synthesis,mixing...than id highly recommmend this site: http://www.synthschool.com/
online classes, same teacher i learned synthesis-assaf dar,the mans a genius when comes to synthesis and sound. |

I go to school at Dubspot NYC, though you wouldn't be able to attend the actual studios you could check out their online courses. I've never taken an online course so I can't vouch for the differences but I will say that Dubspot is an incredible place with a large number of amazing teachers who are all very talented and work in the industry on a day to day basis. I have learned so much since I started attending. Anyway, I don't work there or anything so I have nothing to gain by saying this, I just feel I owe it back to the school that taught me so much to recommend it. I really honestly think it's in a league of it's own, at least compared to the music schools I was looking at in the US, including Berkley. I checked out Breakpoint in the UK too but I really liked what I heard and saw about Dubspot and when I visited I knew I had to be there.
Good luck with whatever you choose, it's a great decision to go to school to learn the craft you love! |
