Greetings, im looking for artists to listen to with a new sound in music (to my ears anyway). I hope it exists out there somewhere and i was wondering if maybe someone here can help. Here are some decribing words of what im after...

Deep bass, Spacious, Minimal, progressive, techno(ish), a bit twisted...no or very few melodies, mostly based around percussion and fx, no dubby chord stabs or cheesy vocal!!

Im not looking at someone in the psy scene...it must exist outside the psy scene, perhaps more the techno scene...i heard an Adam Beyer mix cd and this came kind of close.

If anyone can give me some names it would be much appreciated...Cheers

Hmm.. I don't know if it's exactly what you're looking for, but some of the things you describe makes me think of some of the less "heavy" things by Ben Sims, a UK techno producer...

Edit: I forgot Devilfish.. Some of their less "heavy" things are just wow. I think they should be mentioned as well. And what about some Redhead and Paul Mac? Ehm, I'll stop now...           Aural transmissions from the deep forests of Sweden

chris liebing would be my best fit for what you're searching for, look also for some recent adam x, he's leans towards a more industrial side of techno.
