i want to buy a soundcard with two separated stereo outputs to use the pc with traktor instead of cd players .
i take the two channels of the traktor cd player and make them pass through a real mixer, so i don't need cd's no more but still have the user friendly interface that the mixer represents:
-no more jumping cd's problem
-visual overview of the song: no more hustle to prelisten the song to look for the begin of the beat or any other desired point
-no fucking pads
in a few words like blade the vampire slayer: the qualities of both worlds and none of the weaknesses of any of both
this way you can fully concentrate on the sound, i heard mixes done that way and you get to manage very very smooth mixes
so help me in the choice of the appropriate soundcard plz
bye

go for a terratec dmx 6fire with the breakout is cheap decent sound quality and more in and outs you will ever need and has riaa filters to rec vinyl to, asio, mic in,digital i/o, and a very useful breakout box so you will not heart your back every time to plug an output

Hi...
If you´re laptop based i would recomend the
Echo indigo DJ PCMCIA soundcard. Check the specs @ http://www.Echoaudio.com Costs as much as one Audiophile and it still has a Motorola DSP inside.
