Hi there, i was hoping someone would be able to help me out with a rather major problem im having.
I use cubase now, but i still have alot of material i would really like to use in the form of logic files with reason rewired into it.
Anyone who has rewired into logic will know that you do so by selecting one of reasons ouputs through the CHA paramater under instruments
i now have alot more multi i/o stuff installed on my machine and logic has lovingly gone and lost all my mappings to reason and remapped them to some other instrument that has the same name name (MIX L/R etc)
the reasons outputs have moved further down the list under CHA/instruments and can still be accessed if i change the output the CHA parameter is pointing to
(i hope your following me here hehe)
*however*, if i go in and try and change them to the reason chans then i lose all insert and send plugin settings and volume levels of that channel which is incredibly annoying and very time consuming to re-do, does anyone know a way around this dillema?
thanks in advance
have a nice day

Unfortunatelly I don't think there's anything you can do to speed up the process. Unless you uninstall some kind of rewire application that has moved all the channels...
for moving the chans, I suggest you make a copy of them on the enviroment, and Using Audio Configuration just drag drop all the effects accordingly.

Actually I wouldn't use rewire with Logic - it support only ver. 1... And in that case, I wouldn't use any rewire-friendly application at all.
Sorry that you have to work hard for those ;/
