maybe u can empty your hard disk a little bit because hard disk acts as a virtual memory too.

Hi haka..

to me it sounds like ur having overload issues because ur expecting too much from ur g4 processor... do this open system performance in logic and see how many instances of a plugin, like rob papen blue(heavy load), you can load.... without the meter on your system performance getting close to the top... u'll be surprised at how few it actually takes with a g4... logic was optimised for the g5's a couple f years ago, and all the new 3rd party plugins being released kinda expect the system to have more than sufficient processing power available with core-duo's, quad stations etc etc... the g4 processor in front of todays plugins are well, obsolete

things to do...
bounce to audio
freeze files
use more samplers
run less plugins

buy a mac pro

hey raoul thanks, yes another friend told methe same, to buy a mac pro or a g5! i know.... i was using nexus, predator and others at the same time, predator uses a lot of memory!!! the thing of freezing i dont like because when i want to move again i need to unfreeze and then freeze and continue like that, but i need to do it!

cheers bro           Searching for new Sounds
