I was looking at the audio editing thing and it didn't really seem any different than previous versions except for the timestretch that looked to be similar to cubase's...
I wonder if it will allow non-destructive editing to audio samples now, I'm hoping that it will have a function that will allow you to save a new version of the audio file automatically any time you make a change to it. I messed up a lot of my original sample library that I used to make my album trying to do some wierd timestreching and reversing of audio.
I could almost accept the fact that it won't have the nifty right click offline process that cubsx has if they can at least allow you to nondestructively normalize or reverse or timestrech without having to manually save a new version beforehand.
Looking at the overview of it, it's still destructive editing... that alone will prevent me from leaving cubase... But it looks like they've done away with the dongle thingy... An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines. |

looks nice indeed, especially since I'm getting my mac on friday and just wanted to buy pro 7
but the thing I'm curious about is what is with the old plugins coming with 7...are they still included?
I didnt find even a simple list anywhere, not even in the manual
just that there are 40 instruments and 80 effects included, what seems quite an ammount of new stuff...
and this 50% price drop and then even mainstage and soundtrack pro 2 included seems a bit strange to me hope there is nothing missing, or worse than in 7...
this got also no xskey protection anymore as far as I heard
dont know why, but I'm a bit unsure yet about this update

haha yeah I see
this looks kinda astonishing...a bit sad that there are no new logic instruments, but the effects look WOW
Bass Amp (I'm curious how this sounds on a bassline ), Delay Designer & Echo, the new dynamics plugins...and I'm also curious about the Microphaser since I really like logics phaser already in logic 5
now I become happy slowly about this update...
but man, how must the poor guys feel that just ordered logic 7 for 999$ in the last month and now even need to pay 10 bucks more to get the update??

destructive editing to audio samples is not possible and you can t edit freezed track if i m right.
look like they want to sell more mac,it use serial protection .( the mac is the dongle ) |

yeah mainstage looks really good, lets see if it is able to beat live
about what I heard on sonicmatter, this seems like a massive update with a new audio engine and lots of other nice things that make the workflow much faster!
dont know about the editing of freezed tracks tough (seems we have to RTFM )
even if it cant do that, I cant wait already to get my hands on it YAY
