Hi psys ...

some questions about Logic ...
1) How to record cutoff changes?
2) How to add effects (reverb, echo, flanger) to specified track?
3) What could I achieve using Logic and Sound Diver together (instead of bank/patch import)
4) What else parameters of hard could I control and automate?

Too add effects to certain tracks just go to the mixer window, find the mixer for the track you want to add effects, pull down the INSERT menu , and choose your desired effect. The effect should kick in soon afterwards. You can also use the SEND menu to SEND the music to another mixer (example: BUS1) and then at bus1 you can select Flanger or Chorus or whatever u want. The virtue of it is that you can control the volume of the chorus and flanger from BUS1. I believe you can also pan the effect with the mixer. You can also send as many tracks as you want to one "BUS" and have it all use the same effect parameters.

Other parameters... you can automate mixer movements by using the record button on each mixer. (but be sure you have the PLAYBACK channel recording too) So that while you play the track, you can modify volume and all that other shit, and have the computer remember what you did. that way it does it for you when you play the track.

1) you need to find the controller that is responsible for this filter, and draw a curve for it in a "hyper draw" of this track.

2)u go to the mixer[ctl+m] and u can add insert or send fx there [it's insert or send rectangulars], u choose the effect, and play with its params.

3)[afaik - nver tried this] sounddiver is helping you to remember all the states of the synth.so i think you can change the banks/patches and other settings via this soft.and sometimes it's more convenient.
4) if you mean "automate" by software, with logic,
you can automate any parameters that can be translated to MIDI [both syscom and sysex]
it can be recorded into a midi track, and then played back.

Thanks guys ...

one more one ...
I installed Sound Diver 3.0 on my computer and tried to receive data from my Korg Triton ... Diver does something (probably receives) but doesn't show patch names on a screen.
I'm sure that this version of diver supports Triton it was written in device list. And I'm sure that the other staff (controller) works fine as soon as Diver detects Korg. I also have Virus connected, but I switched it off during installation of Korg.

Any suggestions?

it's a shame for me ...

1) how can I create a nice delay effect specified track?

2) Can I extend effects list (if they are something like plug-in) ?

u get this swiss preciseness quickly :-)
well:

1)"nice" is subjective opinion, so i don't know what u mean.
generally u have 2 types of fx - inserts & sends [i know u know this]
i think u use lap 4.7x , so u need to 2click the name/icon of this chnnle, u'll get the mixer [actually environment] above the mixer fader there's EQ, inserts and sends.
u need to hold pressed mouse button over these to get a drpdown of effect/plugins and choose what u need.

2) logic is plugin driven.u have 3 types of plugins:
Logic, Directx and VST
they can be effects or virtual instruments.
Logic Plugins are added with patches and new versions[or separate installer]
DirectX - installed separately[with their own installer]
VST - as the above and besides the plugin and it's settings files must be copied into the Vstplugins directory in root dir of logic.

some VST plugins don't work with Logic but most do.

after u install new effects u MUST run "plugin enabler" - it's in the start menu of Logic.
