ok i have my nordlead coming through an input channel in logic, and have an environment set up for it. so my nord lead comes out of one channel, meaning i can only add effects to that one channel, which affects all the channels on my nord at the same time.
But i would like to have one fader for each channel of my nord. How do i do that? should i create an environment? |

You need to have more inputs from nord to sound card.
Nord has 4 outputs, wich can give out 2 stereo channels (Input 1-2 and Input 3-4 in Logic)
or 4 mono channels (Input1, Input2, ....4)
I'm talking NL2, dunno if others are diferent
You also control the outputs of the nord in the "out mode" menu
Is that what you're looking 4?

On the bottom left side of the Audio Window where you are recording the synth, there's a circle (mono), click it for stereo and it will become two circles.
That will make "Input1" change to "Input 1-2"
You'll need Out A and B from the Nord to go into Input 1-2 of your soundcard |
