Hi I'm a Cubase user, but when Domestic says that he uses ESM on his bassline i got curious to give a try on Logic...
When I open the Logic, I feel a bit lost, but even opening a Demo-Project seems that Logic don't have the native plugins installed, can anyone help? |

I use Esm in Cubase through Esi Julia DirecWire driver, its rout logic signal from MME to Asio, and i record it direct to Cubase, only trouble is big asynchronization, but its work fine... Reason is - I dont like logic, but it not meen thet its bad...

Same as Cubase, Protools and Fruity Loops bub
Logic has a very adaptable interface. Sure, it'll take you 20 minutes to create a proper setup (25 if you use 2 screens) as your autoload - but once you do that it's more of a streamlined creating experience than cubase.
Anyways - you need to run the plugin enabler (and disable all DirectX plugins you can find ), choose and set up the proper asio drivers and the plugins should load no problem. Note: ESM is a mono plugin, don't look for it under stereo plugins in the mixer - if you want stereo effects on it just use a mono->stereo effect on the channel in the mixer. http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222 |
