I am a first time music producer.
Does it make sense to spend the $300 on Logic Express to learn and then move on to Logic Pro ($1000)?

if you upgrade your Logic Express to Pro, it will cost you $699.
so you don't lose money on the upgrade.
The reason to buy an express version, is to get to know Logic, but if you allready know you will absolutely sure you will use Logic, you can just save time and get the Pro right away...
or if u're short on money for now, you can get the Express to get many things done anyway.

Trip - thank you for your response - it is going to be my first time creating music - let alone with logic - i have a mac so i read (on the forum) that logic is the best way to go.
