ive been recently thinking that there might be a way to use an aditional lfo in the es2...making the vector act as a lfo of course you would have to put some of the values in yourself...dont know if this makes sense...i believe its possible i actually tried it and its sounds kinda shitty but i believe if i play around with it long enough i can actually achieve this.....now my question is has anyone else actually tried this? or what other fun ways of playing with the vector mode have you found? ive been thinking about the vector mode alot recently |

Usually 2 LFOs suit me fine with the ES2 patches I make, but in them special patches that I need an extra LFO, I use a 3rd party plug in (or Logic's Autofilter) that has an LFO that syncs to midi. So 2 LFOs in ES2 doing the oscillator modulations and then use filter plug ins with syncable LFOs to do the filter modulation.
What I really miss from ES2, are LFOs that go well within the audio region as I don't want to sacrifice an oscillator for this task and more importantly, I don't want it to track the keyboard.
Peace out.

you know i was thinking about that too using the autofilter to be filter lfo and then i would have the other 2 lfo's for controlling whaterever i want...and now the vector for controlling somenting else so it would almost be like having 4 lfos....
i kept going at it last night with the vector and im getting better and better at it although it does take some time to master |
