SONIC PLAYGROUND 5 will break new territory with intense art installations, diverse music, and wonderful people. 2005 is gonna be good... so let’s start it like we mean it!!
This time Katalyst is teaming up with the pK Kru & theTeknoCollective to throw the event in McCowan's golf dome and the attached 3-room bar (Macleod and 50 Ave). Each room will have a unique sound and feel.

A DJ set by Logic Bomb’s Jonas Pettersson. Jonas has been heavily involved in producing trance music since ‘96 and was a founder of Hux Flux back in ‘97. His new side project called “Tranan” will be releasing a full debut album in January 2005. Expect some seriously ripping tunes in this mix!!

Futuristic visions and mind-expanding psychedelic awareness are brought to life on huge incredibly detailed UV backdrops!! Felix is one of a small handful of party decor artists that specialize in psychedelic artwork installations for special events. He is world renowned and has decorated some of the biggest festivals on earth as well as some of the tightest underground parties throughout Europe. We are proud to finally be able to bring Felix to Canada for the first time to display his incredible artwork throughout the venue. Felix is also an ambient dj and will be playing some downtempo in the art garden.
