In the audio menu, choose Import audio file. In order to play it, simply click the play button in the transport bar.

this is because u're trying to put an audio part into a midi channel... usually these notifications mean exactly what they say: choose audio channel, and then drag&drop the part.

goto arrange.choose audio track.(it will have red "r") goto audio window (it has all the wav files), drag & drop the file u want into the channel u chose in the arrange. this is it. if u want to listen to this sample without putting it into arrangement, just press the speaker after clicking the sample in the audio window.
ciao ciao
