Hello..

I've just bought XV-5050 sound module, M audio 49 key midi keyboard. Both of them connected with USB..

Iam Cakewalk user since Sonar came out.. But when i connect those devices i had problem with stuck sound.. It's like you play any note then it's keeps playing.. Never stops!! I try to do everythink.. Also had a problem reaching sounds on the sound module.. Then i tryed Cubase SX2 also same.. Some channels no sound!!

Finally i tried Logic 5.5.1 i have sounds on all channel.. And no stuck sound! Everythink is fine.. But i will have some questions if someone using same or similar setup..

Thank you..

If it works for Logic then it may be a case of getting the right settings for your keyboard within each program. make sure you have the latest drivers for your keyboard from the M-Audio website also, they make new ones all the time depending on consumer feedback.

I have downloaded M audio drivers..

Do you have advise about patch list in Logic? Environment menu? That was usefull in Sonar like instrument definition.. Anyone here Logic user can explain how to assing instrument list?

Do i have to do any setting on the M Audio to go to right bank and right patch?? Or Logic is enough??

XV-5050 have powerfull sounds that i always wanted.. but i can not get (:

Logic users??

Good, because I am not certain if I set my stuff up right... How did you do that?

I entered midi command from M Audio, thats all.. If i can do everybody can do

On the M Audio
1- Midi Select---> CC No--->"0"(enter)---> CC Data---> "87"(enter)

2- CC No--->"32"(enter)--->CC Data--->"65"(enter)

3- Program--->"18"(enter) then Midi Select Again!!!

"PB:018 Slap Bass1."

You can change those number to go other banks, presets, patches....
