I think Logic is a bit easier on your computer... it's a matter of what interface you prefer. |

r u using a mixing desk and multi-out soundcard on your computer? cause in cubase u can assign the softsythns their own outputs, independant from the main mix
logic cant do this (yet!)
good luck! |

Reece. you are wrong. if you want to use logic, and you don't know how to do it with logic...try newsgroups/mailing lists, or the tutorial (if you use original software, you get good documentation) in logic everything is setup in "environment" if you build environment that makes use of all the multi-out card's outputs, then you'll be able to use them from the VSTi's in Logic. the opposite - cubase takes over all the outputs of the card without giving you an option to choose which are used by cubase and which are not...

ure right, i was thinking of a VSTi - TC's Mercury, which has like 4 different outputs, i dont use cubase, but a friend told me u can set up 4 different channels of output with just the one synth open, ie - different levels, effects on each part. (within cubase, not hardware) is this possible within Logic?
(if you use original software, you get good documentation)
hehehe
thanx man |

yes it is possible.... exactly like u expect it -u create audioinst track, and assign it to output to say ... 2 of Mercury.
all this can be directed to the audio bus that is goin out to ..e.g. outs 7 and 8 of your audio card availible channels (either virtual or real)
