logic + absynth problem

hi all : )
having a wee small problem running absynth 2.0 in logic.
the standalone version works fine, however when i try to run it in logic (v5.5.1, or 5.3) the absynth 'engine' wont open.
the little 'synth' page opens up, and i can play the presets not a problem, but cant edit any of the parameters.
nothing happens when i click the patch, envolope, effects, waveform etc. buttons.
as you can imagine, its quite pointless when i cant tweak nuthin!
ive tried going back to v1.3.4, uninstall/re-install 500 times.... still nada...
any help would be hugely appreciated!

This doesn't happen only in Logic btw.
The absynth engine is not supposed to open, only when u press Edit in the absynth window. but this ain't working either, so whenever u want to edit something, just open the absynthEdit.exe urself...
it's not of a fuss.

Nectarios, the absynth Edit program ain't launching... it's some bug on some machines. He should launch it manualy that's all.
