Logic 7 Audio Editing problem

hi there,
when I double click an audio file in Logic it opens the audio editor but for some reason most of the functions are disabled and I can't access, for example, the 'time and pitch machine'. Would be glad if some of you helped me out.

that's strange... You are selecting the sound file? or portions of it?

Yeah i have selected it. The weird thing is that it just happens sometimes, if I restart my computer it'll work again...guess it's just some kind of bug then.it annoys me though |

dear Mikhail i suggest to take a look in the audio window
or in track paramenters to see if the lock (or maybe the freeze too) is closed
