hello there DMA is very easy , follow this instruction ,
open a song
save as project
then click on AUDIO -->set audio record path.
change the name of the audio file that will be reked (for ex , the name of the track) press enter
now conect the midi between nord and sound interface, then conect the output of the nord lead to one of the stereo input of your sound card , for ex , INPUT 1-2(analog input)
then go to logic audio , selecct a AUDIO track (for ex audio track 2) click 2 times on it , the mixer will open , go to the audio channel 2 select input and put input 1-2 , then press the REK button that is on the channel , then go back to the arrange , select a midi line , chek if the midi line have the apropriate driver in this case(maudio firewire) select a compatible channel between soundcard and nord lead 3 , then selecct the region were u want to REK ,then PRESS ON THE REK that u find on the transport bar , and u will see the file showing up
btw , shortcuts
REK in the arrange press ( * )

I don't understand,
how does an audio track help you to recieve MIDI msgs back to the nord? Or what are you trying to do - maybe I didn't get you right...
Once you create a midi channel, and set it to the port your nord is connected to - that channel should send/recieve midi data.

hi,
midi channels must match.
also it is important that you send the midi receive channel of nord to coresponding channel in logic
nord 3 ?? you must have money, eh ?
