i just upgradedto L7 a few weeks ago, and came upon this baffling scenario.
for some reason, i can freeze 8 or 9 tracks and it processes faster, much faster than bouncing a normal few tracks. effects and stuff about the same
any other logic users notice something like this?

when you freeze a track, it processes only that track alone, while bouncing requires the whole audio mixing routes to be bounced.

Trip- , thanks for your reply. i was aware of that, but shouldn't make that big of a difference- like 20x!
i found the reason on the Apple forum. apparently the current version's bounce does not support multi-core CPUs, while freeze does...
seems alot of people are irrate about this, and nagging to get it fixed in the next update

don't get confused.
7.2.2 is the latest version for now - and surely the problem is not in the update version.
