i did... but ive found many problems when running 3rd party plugins whose were coded in 32 bits so i changed back....

i remember many years ago some friends raving about having their g5 macs which run in NATIVE 64 bit mode... 8+ years later computers still run at 32 bits LOL!!!!           http://soundcloud.com/portable-disaster-unit

had no problem with my plugs but it was just a short try...but you won t get much performance boost on most computers using less than 4 giga of ram (to get more it s only usefull if you use samplers and big sample librairies if i m right) ,not sure it worht it for me, i ll just switch in 64 bit mode if i have no more juice to finish my tracks and see if it helps (if it s possible to do that),i did a benchamrk and could run few more tracks in 64 bit but not much .

Ahh and by the way , Logic Audio engine is NOT 64 Bit, its just the Memory Management.

Audio Engine resolution:
Logic is still 24 Bit ???
Cubase is 32Bit
Protools HD is 48 Bit (24 Bit double precision)
Studio One is real 64Bit (32Bit double precision)

Logic's internal audio engine mixer is of course 32bit.
Logic doesn't export/import 32bit audio files.           Crackling universes dive into their own neverending crackle...
