you should find another mode in the driver right under the icon pcav where you chose easi mme.
if you still have the problem try to install asio driver which actually the best for pc. is your soundcard coming with asio driver ?
A<if it s the case : deselect everything you ve done on the audio driver 1 section and select asio in the audio driver 2 section, also next to the asio select the right driver for your sound card that should be "name of sound card"+asio .
B<if your card does not have asio drivers then go to
http://www.asio4all.com/
and download the asio for all driver, install and and follow A,

Seppa, I use asio4all in cubase, but if I put it on logic the error cames from Easi MME to Asio4all  |

its possible then that its not the audio driver the problem
maybe its the one of the vsts ....
change the vst plugin folder.
backup it somewhere. rename it to vstplugin2
and creat another vstplugin empty
reload logic and see if it works.
if it works than one of the plugin is making a conflict.
maybe when the audio driver is not set logic might not load the vsts, it pure speculation.
give it a try

I've tryed this, but i think it's not the problem...the error is in the same time of initializing

I know this problem. But don´t know how to solve it... lol
I guess when I managed to get it working, I changed the computer..
But even now I have some crashes... Specially sudden crashes, when Logic just shut down.
Don´t know if it´s some hardware conflicts(as I don´t use any vst on Logic), but I really would like to know how many producers are still running Logic 5.5 at PC. Maybe they have the original copy.. heheheh

You clearly see that the crash is when it is loading directshow plugins.
please run pluginenabler and disable every directx plugin there - the healthiest way to start Logic.

You should not have PC AV selected at all. Also the Wave Player should be of. You should only have ASIO selected. I know that what Seppa said.
Reinstall your audio card + asio4all (or is Asio4all all thais nedded to be installed? Dont really know Asio4all) |

I did it. And I´m still having those annoying crashes... I would like to make a track using Logic, but all I can do is some samples and effects....
Any other clue??
Btw, I´m with: WIndows XP Pro, M-Audio FW 410, HP Centrino Duo, Logic 5.5

I have the same problem with using Esi Julia. And, also nothing helps... i like esm alot, but cant work whith it.
