you have to put them to the vstplugins folder under logic, or install them there.
there're some nasty plugins written for cubase only (not 100% VST2 compatible), but most of them do work

my plug-in enabler only sees direct x as well.... but if ure vst plugs are in a vstplugs folder in the logic folder, then they should be available in logic

Well, I've put the plugins into a VSTplugins folder under Logic, but I still can't find them..

I will try to install them into that folder later, and then maybe that's what has to be done .. ?

I'll let you know

after copying, u create audioinst channel for VSTi, and try assigning VST plugin into the virtual instruments slot. (goto audioinst mixer window, single left-click+hold the slot, goto VST -> choose the instrument.)
that's it.
as i've mentioned before, some VSTi's (sometimes) require additional installation into that folder (B-52, Battery, Waldorf Attack etc.)

.....and There's no need of reinstalling the plugins into that directory. it requires only the DLLs of a VST plugin

i don't know which version exactly u have,
but if it's an official version of 4.7, then you must
update to 4.81 from Emagic FTP server (go to their site, and seek for upgrade)
this should be free..
anyway the 1st version that began full VST support
was 4.71 or 4.72, so upgrade as fast as u can
