Didn't know they had a show about this. It happened to a friend of mine who traveled to Italy from Columbia (he's from the US). Very scary and he's lucky he got the case thrown out in court eventually.

well after you watch few episodes you get mixed feelings about the people who get caught. Most of them are US or UK citizens, most of them are fully aware of what they are about to do, and they end up getting couple of years in jail then released because of their nationalities, while other people who have the same charges get rotten in jail just because their country doesn't have too much influence!!! not fair |

Really enjoy this show and I really understand what your saying Lola.
Its like at some point you forget this people committed a crime (a serious one most of the time) and you feel sorry for them and what they had gone
through.
Anyway really interesting show.

I think what lola is trying to convey, is that it isn't fair that some people get reduced sentences just because of their nationality

The story of the guy who escaped from that island was the best. That is awesome. Saved his own life.
