I don't see that I'm the only one who gets involved. You do your thing and I do mine, I say some things as a 3rd person so that you or anyone like you will get better instead of worse... Take this as a feedback and not as an attack! Try to get some good out of it and don't blame ME for the situation here.. You and Marios write all these things in a PUBLIC forum and not only I have the right to answer, I also feel obliged to.
And for once more: nothing personal from me, my feelings are the same for most promoters, after all THEY made the scene crapy. Not us.

Let me ask something... Can we publish our opinion about promoters in this forum on not? Our personal opinion.... If something is right or wrong? Beeing a promo means that you cannot be judged by your customers? WTF?>??>?>

i would like to say once more that ur thinking is the only thing that keeps the greek scene in this situattion(and i dont mean only the rave as u say)...u dont take ur self serius neither ur work not even ur music...u post like little kids(that goes to some called artists inside here that dont even play music only noises and sound fx).
we sould all be F***G DACING with marios post coz this sould have been posted long ago.
this was a post about respect in our days so open ur eyes and ears on that...
as i said i was very happy to see zoi post and reply on this matter...i think she has more balls than some other on this city...
but plz zoi tell me u think that without marios nexon and dimitris ur party could go over 50 people? i was in many parties over the last months and what i saw was that locals bring u the people in this scene support them proper or get wasted...i was so glad about the last party with aerospace(even i dont like guy's music)coz of the family atmosfere inside the club...so u sould care first for ur family and then about the rest...i will once more say that i am a supporter i pay the tickets never ask for free or a booking...
and i am saying that only coz i trully want this to stop here...there is no reason for going on coz nobody understands...
thats why i live in makrigialos thats why i dont like to talk about thoose things...thats why no ones takes partys serius thats why ur going down...:S

I support local Dj s more than any other promoter...but I m here to be judged and answer to personal posts?? No way man...
If only locals bring people to the parties let's make parties only with locals..then people will complain...ooooo local again and again.....it goes like that...do you think I like to risk my money and bring foreign artists?? You know me better....NO.....But I want to give people the chance to listen to some quality music...that doesn't mean that locals are not a part of it..but get to the ground and be real...A foreign project will always attract the crowed.... and something else how many locals can really bring so much people in a party?? Let's just face the truth here...This doesn't mean I don't respect them..but as you as Dj complain about things..listen to our side also...
this is my first pos..this is my opinion here George read it...
All above refers only to Free Frequency maybe some points are common for all promoters...
Why you or any other local DJ shall make this issue become a war??
1. The ticket of the party is calculated by many things not only the hole budget but what the owners of the place want...
Consider that NO ONE of the promoters in town OWN their place to throw parties...if that was possible then the tickets would be very low...or even better we would have free entrance parties.....but this is a dream...
2. Pls have in mind that foreign artists sometimes are cheap...but most of the times not...Don't want to speak for the hole expenses of a party...it's a lot to be covered...and many of you can't look behind the decks..coz you don't care...
3.If you wonder why there are few people in parties now days..think twice...
The last 2 years parties in Thessaloniki are taking place every weekend...at least 2 parties every Saturday..and you believe that the only reason that people don't come to parties are coz "we r the bad guys here"?? The market is getting very competitive and every promoter has to be alert...so you should...
You speak about new Dj's come across and play without get payed..and this is promoters problem or your??Of course a promoter will see and act to have the less cost for the budget...This is a general fact not promoters fault!! Although you have to careful as a promoter If you want quality music in your party...
4.As for playing abroad..bla bla....not all of you played abroad...but you can't compare situations and parties or festivals with Greece...Especially Germany or Italy or Mexico..which are countries that are bigger than Greece and with better basification..and we all know that..
5.I don't support promoters that don't pay at all!!This is not my way and not the right think to do....As for the money and who actually of you are really professionals... mmmm this is another big issue...as much as you want the promoters to be professionals you should try to be more professionals yourself.....100-150 euros...you think is not good money?? I think it's a reasonable price for a set....You take it tooooo personal...NO ONE BELIEVES THAT YOU DON'T DESERVE YOUR MONEY OR YOU DON'T PLAY WELL OR YOU DON'T GIVE YOUR BEST!!! But imagine in a party maybe you lose 50-100 euros....a promoter will lose more maybe 1000-2000 euros!!!! So you can't say if you don't have the money don't throw parties...it's not valid...There are so many thinks to take care of beside the artists(all of them) and so many unexpected situations..you can understand the hole point...If you see with your own eyes that a party didn't go well you will demand your money...but who will have to give you money??You believe that locals don't get payed cos they are locals....for me no it's not that...It goes like this >> I will see you in the future...We live in the same town...The foreign artist I won't see tomorrow.. and I prefer to owe you some money if a party doesn't go well that the foreign one...it's logical!!
6.Anyway the point is that we are in the same side but you don't get it...when promotes have to face with bad promoters and fu*** demanding owners and bla bla bla....you are a part of it!!! We face difficult situation..you do also coz you are a part of the hole party...If promoters stop throwing parties...you don't play...it's so simple!! If some promoters are shit..go and speak to them...
There are good and bad people in every small community as in our music...you decide with who you work and who you don't....
Pls I don't want to provoke anything it's just my opinion....
No one gets money from music...believe me I ve lost money and still going on..You think that I m doing that to satisfy my ego??? I can find better thinks to do than lose so much money and energy.....but it's something that I love doing...and wish I ll have enough strength to continue...

I would like to see other promoters post here....
