Well, unfortunately I don't get to listen to much Brazillian trance. I do have an old CD with stuff from Kopset and it's very special music, with some wicked tracks. I would definitely be interested to hear more of what Rogerio is doing today.

Can someone here give us a Brazilian trance discography? I know of a compilation released and a Kompset track on a compilation in Europe, but not more.

Thereīs a Wrecked Machines track on the Magma Rec. compilation (Italy)... a Kompset and a Mukunga Umbura on the Ketuh Rec. compilation (Portugal)... the Psychedelic Warriors, from Wajanga Rec., wich is a compilation full of brazilian music, thereīs a Gil Mahadeva (aka Mukunga Umbura) track on an MTV e-music compilation called AMP... well, thatīs what I remember for now.... anyone remembers anything else?

that's what i know.. if someone could complete me, or correct me, i'll be glad.

my friends the best dudes in brazil are:

+ DJ FEIO
+ DJ V.O.R.
+ DJ JP
+ DJ MACK
+ DJ CARBON 23

these guys control that entire area quite hardcoredly from what i hear... Nice gang hehe.

We didnīt mention Vibra and Stralia dudes... they are brazilians, but they donīt live here, so..well, I think I canīt call it "local music"...

but for me, imho, they are the most talented brazilian psytrance artists... Bob rocks da house as well, but their style is so, so, so different that I believe that I canīt even compare them...

For those of you who are not acquainted to the brazilian trance, you may ftp a couple of its flavors: (Internet release & download authorized by their respective authors)

ftp://teaserdn@200.168.53.215

ftp://transee@200.168.53.215 (Browse into MPA folder)

The first one contains a track by Digital Nonsense, a Sao Paulo / Brazil  based project.

The second one, contains three tracks from MPA, a Rio de Janeiro / Brazil based project.
