I attended to another day live of tycon, I perceived that they use microphone in live. It wanted to know what necessary to use a microphone using vocoders without latency, use cubase sx3, is necessary some hardware taking off the microphone?
thanks a lot. |

You can do it with software, but you will have some latency. My best advice is to buy micro korg (or MS2000). It's not expensive, you can probably buy a secondhand, and it has a great vocoder (in adition to a good synth). |

I thinking about microkorg then, I find that he would be optimum in cost benefit.
Thanks |

microkorg/ms2000 has only 8 band vocoder, get microQ or alesis Micron which have like 32+ band vocoder and a lot more features.
microKorg is nice though, great sound and limited in nice kind of way. But the midi implementation sucks, it's drifting like hell (i don't know about ms2000). If you get a fair deal, why not to go for it. But don't pay over 200e for it... |
