Hello. I am curious how live sets work.....
are some songs from scratch on stage, or is the computer set up and tunes are mearley played???? I am so confused about this performance concept...... a dj plays decks... what do the trance artists do? |

Well...many artists do nothing but sequence their tracks in computer and press play...  no good....
But others do live things, like having the tracks divided by channels and mixing live, also tewaking sinths live, some do some work with samples on top, some play guitar or some instrument...
Its a very personal thing, there isn't like "the way" to do a live, its up for the artist skills and imagination 
If u really want to see a good live act go see Son Kite or Sun Project
