in drum rack you can play different drum hits and they will go trough one track, also in live 7 there is instrument rack which you can try..i donno heave not tried it yet. if you need to have sounds going trough one track you can just route them to the one track you want.. i usually have my kick and bass routed to one track which i call k&b so this way i can conrol the volume with a fader while producing.
Why not just duplicate the track?

if you have a stereo track some sequencers allow you to play 2 mono tracks in them but that's it...           Upavas - Here And Now (Sangoma Rec.) new EP out Oct.29th, get it here:

I think it's not possible to play 2 clips at the same time in the same track. As Avduka has said, you can use the drum rack or instruments rack instead. Racks are just ...great !

I usually use 2 tracks for leads, 2 for textures and 2 for FX (one for bass and one for kick). Like this, you can have one lead playing "A", start the other "B", then you can use the crossfader to mix between the clips.           Super Banana Sauce http://www.soundcloud.com/knocz
