How come it always have to be about antisemitism or racism for you?
It's amazing that when an Israeli artist or Israel is getting critisised then it just HAVE to be because we bad Europeans are antisemetistic and jew haters... it's so OLD and a cliche mate.
And frankly it's just your way of striking back because you dont have anything else to debate with.
So please do close this thread and erase my "antisemetistic" comments. If that makes you feel better. |

This topic is creating "NEGATIVITY" cos lots of people want to argue over who or what is RIGHT. At the beginning of this topic it was a more like a QUESTION asked. maybe that was the intent of a person who posted it" - Hear you'll get an answer from me.. NO IT WAS NOT. I think ur the one with the negativity to actually think that was going through my mind - and yes this very much has to do with PSY TRANCE cos its a name of a PSY TRANCE track. If you've been listening enought (or harder) you'd hear religious chants in some tracks. Whats the need for it when the artist himself doesn understand hear or tail of whats being said? Ignorance is a bliss.

I believe in a open debate about things. And if you would set aside that you are loyal to your israeli friends in the debate, you'll see that it's your friends that make Balagan with their angry posts and one or two "hidden" accusations that I am antisemitic.
It's not me or Bloodclot (that asked a reasonable question even though i dont agree with all he say) that are the agressive ones here.
I just try to debate calmly and rational and haven't at one point been out of line or called anyone by names. |

In one of my first posts I actually wrote that Jihad mean something very different than the extremist Muslims have made it into. So I am aware of it 
I also wrote that he might not think about the disrespect the track title can be seen like. But he's an intelligent person. I doubt he and any of you are so naive that you cant see that such a title can be interpretated as disrespectful. Especially when it's used by an artist from Israel seen in the light of the situation between Israel and the Muslim world. I did not say and never have said that he hate Muslims or anything like that.
You ask me:

It's not very difficault to tell and predict that any muslim would be offended by such a track title coming from an Israeli.
Is that wrong to think this way? I can assure you I am not the only one that see it like that.
Now I wont speak for other artists or drag them into this debate. But just an example. How do you think a person like Omar from Tegma see it? He's from Tunesia and an Arab and I can assure you I know him well enough to say that he dont agree with you. |

Thats the problem here. Some of you dont see the disrespect as I and other do.
The point again is that Jihad is a misused term used by extremist Muslims to go into Holy war.
Now especially when a israeli artist use such a track title many will see it as pointing fingers at islam and indeed labeling Muslims as terrorists.
I am aware of now that it was never Iron Madness intention. But still it's not that hard to see that such a track title is quite offensive toward nomal peaceful Muslims and that such track titles should be avoided no matter the intention. Of course I cant and wont dictate anyone to not use such titles but i will speak my mind.
I still doubt any of you would like if someone in the trance scene (maybe even an arab)named a track "Zionist of Israel" or something like that.
Still dont get my point? |
