Connect it with midi in & out cables to your soundcard. I don't have cubase in front of me right now but i think then you can configure the midi from within the device setup menu.          http://www.soundcloud.com/getafixmusic

Go into device konfiguration...then on the upper left side..there is this little +
push it..and choose generic control...then set all midi in at the top the generic control register..and even on that other midi register set all midi in...then go back into generich control..with you keyboard pluged in of corse..

then on the right side..select add and a dedicated controller is set up just for you..maybe there are several displayed you could even use them..just select one of them and move one of your controllers on your keyboard and push learn on the right..this all happens in the upper window..

if you see that the controller number has changed in the selected scene you have done alright...

so then go to the window below..choose the same scene and just choose what you want to control with your learned controler..

its pretty annoying in cubase compared to logic or live but it works..

good luck

btw..wich cubase version?doesn`t really matter, but would be nice to know..
