Here is a preview of my upcoming EP "Luminescence". Finished are 3 original tracks. An ambient track called "Mani". A more IDM-oriented track called "In A Distant Dream" and last but not least a more atmospheric and deep chill track called "Photons". I hope you'll enjoy it..
A-toniq, formerly known as Fine Diner (released on Groove Zone records Japan and Cosmic Conspiracy records NZ) is true chill out music drawing influence from any musical style. An accomplished guitarist, DJ, composer and producer, Matthew Larner from Sydney, Australia spent seven years in Tokyo where the Nakai EP was composed. The Nakai EP is a dreamy pastiche emulating the four seasons of Tokyo. Yuki (snow in Japanese) starts with a dreamy synthesizer and pulsating bass which leads into swirls of percussive builds and clean lead guitar sweeps over a smooth trip hop-like beat. Blix starts with the feeling of spring in the air with a crawling loop and calming acoustic guitar motif. Blix switches from dark to light as if stuck between winter and summer. Inside features echo-like guitar lines and pounding beats as if the humid heat of a Tokyo summer has ignited. Shadows in Time brings the listener back to a refreshed state of cooled Autumnal bliss with ambient use of acoustic guitar effects, samples and keyboards. The second half of the track features a synth-bass line, acoustic guitar flickering and chilled beat that perfectly resolves in a blissful state reminiscent of nature.
