OH MY!

This was DEFINITELY worth the 9 hour drive from LA...

I have beyond the utmost respect for those involved in the organization and execution of this event!

I'm finally home and keep pinching myself to prove that it was not a dream nor a hallucation. I don't even know where to begin or what to say other than if you were not there to experience it, my condolences. Go next time. Please.

I am certain that I need to make the trip up for NorCal outdoor events from now on... the atmosphere is amazing.

Final note: If your parents ever asked you "if your friends jumped off of a bridge, would you?", there are now a few people who certainly have an answer.

definitely a blast. wish we saw the friday night talent, but we didn't make it there until saturday late morning. the weather was perfect, the river was great, the location breathtaking, and the vibe excellent. oh yeah, and the music was rediculously good all around.

it was great to meet the other musicians from across the nation and beyond, dragon threw down, electrypnose rocked it, loud, shai, mist, sylph, damn it was nice to have non-californians witness the north cali scene like this. definitely will be back for next year!

thank you phoenix family and full circle, rich your full system rocked it like no other!! thanks again for making this happen.           We are all family. We put the fun in disfunctional.

California is so beauty-full The location of the campout this weekend was awesome. in this huge river canyon, surrounded by trees, next to a river! really breathtaking!! The train cruising by the town was amazing!!! the sounds it made were so cool!! We visited some very wonderful hot springs as well
My favorite set of the weekend came from Arahat... that was my first time seeing him play, and i really enjoyed his set
musically, i thought the lineup would have benefited from a bit more flow in terms of musical styles in appropriate timeslots. And at times i was really suffering from the volume of the sound system, i really need to get some good ear plugs! I also really liked the sets from Amanda and Mubali on friday nite, and Bodhi, Electrypnose and Liam. It was great seeing everyone and meeting some new people as well. And I was soooo impressed by the cleanliness and respect that people had around the dancefloor. The trash was sooo minimal, it was great to dance in such conditions yay! great job everyone
thanks to wichdokta and the rest of the crew for putting on such a cool event! You rock

and note to self: do not place tent directly in front of hippie jam band sound system, even if it is in the ideal river bank location... there is only so much sound checking and fake jamaican accents i can take, LOL.
AND when jumping off a bridge because all your friends do it, make sure you enter the water straight, otherwise you'll end up with a huge bruise on the place of impact, not to mention trouble sitting down afterwards...

ALSO, i found a jacket at the hot springs. if you lost one, email me a description of it: meg69604@gmail.com           Bringing Dreams to Life!

BEST VENUE EVER !!!

or at least in a really really long time.

The spot was amazing, the trees, shade, the steep canyon walls and mountains, the snow on top of those mountains, the river, which had both raging rapids, and a mellow swimming hole
all that on top of cabins, fixed bathrooms with running water, and a bar
simply awsome......

Unfortunatley i was rather tired and coming off being sick the past few weeks, so i found it hard to muster much energy over the course of the weekend, and regretably didnt get to meet or talk to too many of our out of state guests....

Musically, every one that played presented a good set, Dragon and Aeon being my favorites. However i also thought the sounds seemed a bit one sided, and unbalanced on the darker heavier side of things but really thats such a small detail in the scope of an event like this.

I really liked the chill area (including the walk, I like haveing a large degree of seperation between stages), and enjoyed a few sets I caught there, though Bodhi's chill set deff. was the highlight here.

I sure hope we will grace this spot again, and that the cops at the end didnt mess things up.

Hats off to Wichdokta , Full Cirlce and Phoenix Family for doing things right, in the true spirit of the scene.

ps. I also like the trains alot too

cheers to the wichdokta for this one...beautifully done!

Awesome location! one of the best I've seen in Cali for sure!

Electrypnose rocked it! especially the first and last parts of the set....good story lines.... not too much glitch and a decent amount of psychedelic.

best set for me was Arahat....nice work! also loved wichdokta's set, but I didnt get to see alot of people play cause I got there late, slept alot, then woke up to a couple spinning some of my older tunes at a high bpm sunday afternoon right before they shut the system down......whoever that was, thanx!

cant wait to come back to this spot!           info/tourdates/psy

I had a really awesome time at this event... Mad Props to Wichdokta for pulling off an amazing event. I beg to differ however with Paradigm's mention of it being more onesided with the heavier stuff, Friday night perhaps, but I felt that it was pretty equally balanced on Saturday night into Sunday afternoon. The only minor objection would've been Arahat's placement in the lineup. He does play darker edged tunes and perhaps having that at around 7 am didn't quite work out as well as could have been expected. But that's really neither here nor there... The Gemini gathering has always held a soft spot for me, due to it being the first outdoor weekender I ever went to back in 2000. In the end, the best free show I've went to ever, and continues a tradition of attending 6 Gemini shows in a row... Here's to many more...           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

What an excellent weekend...we are so lucky!

I had a wicked fun time and would like to give the biggest thanks to Wichdokta. I don't think we have ever had a better party location here in the states. Just the drive to the location was amazing...snow in the mountains, waterfalls on the side of the road, driving through caves with disneyland style windows. And than the location itself was epic... an entire little town especially for us. We were blessed with perfect weather and excellent music. It was great to meet Shai, Dragon, and Mist. And Electrynose threw down with super psychedelic tunes.

Thanks again Rich and the Gemini crew for creating such a beautiful environment for us to play and dance.           http://www.vaporvent.com

Major major props to the wichdokta for this party! It was such a blessing to be able to come out, dance, smile, put on a few records, dance some more, smile some more... gah! my mind is stuck in california! Such a wonderful wonderful experience.

The land! I've never partied at such a beautiful venue. Absolute pristine beauty all around.

The sound! Massive massive sound! That bass just made the feet move on their own....

And what a lineup! It was soooo great to experience. I don't think I could point to one set as my favorite, but I really really enjoyed: Electrypnose (fantastic deep bass and new styled trippiness), Mubali (can it be more thick? full on madness), RANDOM!!!! (you killed, bro. just better and better each time i hear him), Onnomon (nice drippy waves that tickled the brain), Loud (perfect music for the sunshine), Dragon, Bodhi... if i keep up this way, i'm just going to list everyone. hehehe. I'm kicking myself for missing arahat. his stuff rocks, but i was beat and had to nap.

so nice to meet everyone out there, for the first time, or to put a face with a name, and all of my extended family that i only get to see at times like these.... i keep you all in my thoughts. special special thanks to orlando for hauling dragon and i around all weekend, and for being a trooper when we woke him up for an emergency ride to the bart station. thanks soooo much to rich, for this wonderful gift, to me and to all of us. a life changing experience that i will never forget!
