Well I looked at the Ozora lineup for 2011, and I must agree that there are many big "names", which probably didn't write a new track in quite some time.
But there are also lots of names I never heard of before. They're no veterans I guess. How did they become on the lineup?
I think it's possible for a new artist to get a gig in a festival. But you gotta start small, and promote yourself. You're obviously not getting the main stage at Boom after releasing just one EP at Ektoplazm, but get a local gig. And another local. Find friends in the genre abroad. Whining won't get you anywhere.
By promoting I don't mean about sending emails, find a new way. Justin Bieber started off youtube and how he is a star. He didn't ask people to listen to him, they'd laugh at him. But he found a way around.
Find your own way around.

I apologize if i insulted anyone or pissed you off. I wont continue in this topic or with this subject as I probably make an ass of myself. I have been in a very bad mood all the Holidays cause by my mother trying to fight a very bad cancer (3 years now) which does not seem to go her way. But that should of course not be an excuse for me to rant on about a subject I already made my point in.

Actually I am going to have a crappy day as I am going to visit my father's grave (Who died exactly 30 days ago). You see I have an excuse to troll now, as you are. The difference is, that you do it for decades, I do it only right now, cause hey I got a reason all of a sudden. My dad gives me a free pass to act like a douche on the Internet.

Well Yoni.... Read back in this topic and see i did not insult anyone..On the contrary your friends started because of old grudges. I only debated like anyone else here with my experience and inputs...Nothing else... I am cool with Mike A... The only one that seem to go on and on and on is pavel. That guy has serious issues and should seek some help from his eternal hatred against me.
I actually did speak to Eyal a longggg time ago when I did the artwork for a party here in Denmark..So this is sooooo old news...Apparently just not with Pavel who seek any opportunity to attack me... Now he also make fun of my sick mothers struggle with cancer... Nice guy!
But of course it's easier to blame the danish guy for all things when there is an issue between me and pavel than to read the topic before you judge and see that your friends are not always the angels they like to think they are www.beatagency.dk |
